Back with an outfit post, after 1000 years!

New Header!!

Woohoo, finally I managed a design a new header; it was due a long long time ago! Now it looks more professional but still fun and playful which is the essence of this blog. Also the fact that I cut my hair and no longer look like in the picture before played a vital role to the change. Many people who I showed the blog, asked me who "that girl" was. That's me!!! Hahaha...

Maybe I will change my header more often, I don't know yet. But I definitely want to include a picture of me, I only need a decent photograph... sooner or later that will happen. Until then I hope you enjoy reading my blog :) Thank you again and again for all your comments and lovely words!!!

Diving for McQueen

New York Times' fashion critic Cathy Horyn and Alexander McQueen creative director Sarah Burton together explore the waterworld-inspired SS12 collection. The camera work is fascinating - it's like being underwater and diving through a wonderful coral reef - watch it!!

Shoe Friday #21

The Shoe Friday is slightly different this time! But I had to show you those heels. Although they're around since Madonna first wore them in October 2008, they're still one of the coolest shoe designs out there.
What do you think? Controversial or conversational?

After seeing this video I crave summer so badly...

Beyoncé seems to be such a nice and happy person! You just have to like her! Bless her and her family :)

Behind the scenes at Louboutin

video via youtube.com
Too much Louboutin going on the blog here lately! But I bet you like it ;-)
Here's a video which shows behind the scenes moments of the making of the 20 year anniversary book.
It includes the singer Mika and Dita von Teese and a bunch of nice shoes. Enjoy!!

Free People Black And White Lookbook

Free People's October lookbook is as cool as always! You'll find everything here - from laid back cardigans to glitz and glam sequin dresses. My favourite is the velour blazer, how amazing is it??

Topshop's Skull Craze

Every now and then, stores have their skull and skeleton moments. Now it's Topshops turn. Providing us with some frightening (?) but amusing prints and decorations on leggings, tees and accessories, the high street shop is clearly having it's Halloween moment.

Do you like to include bones in your outfit?

Shoe Friday #20

Shoe Friday number 20!!! What an awesome coincidence; I'm turning 20 on Sunday! Additionally this is post number 150!! Don't we love such mysteries? Hahaha

On to the shoes: When I saw them at first, I thought "Isn't it cool that they have tiny little holes which go through the wedge?? Jil Sander got it totally right!". Later I checked out every picture and noticed that those holes had a purpose: to hold the sirrup pants in place!! What an idea right? And it looks pretty damn cool...

All Saints Esco Jacket

All Saints do great stuff, you know that. But would you have thought of that?
I'm really curious how it would look when thrown on - need to try it on ASAP :D

I wish my break would look as stylish as this!

D&G SS12

I know, I know "It's like one year ago that I saw this!" Yes, you're right, but I HAD to post this! You won't ever see something like D&G's SS12 collection again (literally). Light and airy scarves transformed into colourful and fresh dresses and do you know what? I want them all!! :D
Maybe that's gonna be the next DIY project??

Do I need to say more???? Other than that Mr Louboutin once again did the right job?

Have an awesome weekend, lovelies!!

Different but still the same

You would say those looks are from completely different seasons right?  The first one seems to be a good choice for a summer garden party and the second one somehow reminds me of a very luxurious costume for a halloween party. Maybe it's the spidernet-like details on chest and shoulders?
Anyway, both are from the Milan SS12 collection and both are super stylish! Which one do you prefer?

Felder Felder SS12

images via style.com
After a rather casual and sporty New York Fashion Week I was looking forward to London's mix between play and punk. Felder Felder didn't dissapoint and showed the fashion world how it's done.

German designer twins Annette and Daniela combined tough materials such as leather and studs with soft and see-through fabrics coloured in nude and white to balance out the extreme contrasts.
Injecting sky blue metallics into clothing and accessories such as skirts and shoes, the Felder sisters kept it summery and fresh. "A Felder Felder woman is young at heart and she is a little wild too." Their description couldn't be more accurate.

Shoe Friday #18

Isn't it just GORGE??? I tried this beauty on months ago and then they sold out...but now they're back with an awesome discount! 25 Pound off - that means only 49.99 (I'm not advertising here, hahaha) !! Who could say no?  See you in River Island then...

A necklace? What a boring way to accessorize. Take a wig instead!

As soon as I read in ASOS magazine that they will start to sell wigs (yes you read right) I was overjoyed! Seeing Bryanboy having fun with some cool blonde locks made me want to try it out too. And now that our favourite online-store is offering some why not give it a try? They look quirky, young and cool but above all are designed in the juiciest colours. From bubblegum pink to pale green, I'm sure you'll find your favourite! But now the question: which colour to choose from?? What do you say?

Those are my favourite looks and designs from New York fashion week.  The shapes are sublte but details such as glitter, coloured lace, embroidery have been added to fabrics such as silk and leather. A nice mix I'd say!
