Metallic
Strenesse Gabriele Strehle jumper, H&M trousers, Topshop boots and necklace, Crafted clutch, D&G watch
Wore this yesterday to make my new hair colour stand out haha. Love the cool and metal accessories that simply wrap up the outfit. And those Topshop boots go with really everything (well, that's the reason why I bought them...).
I just saw the movie I Don't Know How She Does It and I'm really upset because it's so different from the book. Kate Reddy comes across so weak in the film; why did they do that?? She says sorry and thank you all the time which in the book she teaches Momo not to do... The whole plot and somehow also meaning of the book has changed. Ok, I could go on and on about this here so I'll stop. Anyone else thinking the same of the movie?
On a positive note: 9 days till the international fashion craze starts again :D hehe!

Street Style Inspiration

Here's some inspiration for you! My favourites are the first and third look. What I like about the first one is the baggy look - the girl has managed to look good and not like she's wearing a bin bag. Also check out how she has combined a luxury material, satin, with black leather military shoes.
The third look won me over with the colour and garment combo. Cream and black just love to bee seen together. And fairy-like pleated maxi skirt plus tough leather jacket with faux fur detailing is just marvellous.

Givenchy SS12 Campaign

There is something about the light, the crisp cream tailoring and those shark teeth necklaces that cought my eye. I love the raw but adventurous feel about this campaign. The black surf boards, truck and dog add to the dark vibe and energy before the big storm.

Colourful Grunge
Zara cardigan, H&M dress and shirt, Topshop boots and tights, River Island hat, ASOS bag, Forever21 necklace
Welcome to a new week guys! For me it'll be all about relaxing after I finished my first semester at university. This week we have a break and I will use the time to visit some galleries, read books and apply for internships. Can't wait :-)
I really look forward to the 2nd semster - we'll be focusing on styling, photography and broadcast/video. Whoop!!
Also from now on it should get warmer and finally I can dig out my beloved spring/summer clothes. Just love the thought of the weather getting better.
Now, to the my look above: This cardigan is ultramegasuperawesome! I've been lusting after it since I saw it hitting the shops but couldn't believe when I saw for how much money they sold it (59.99 Pounds! Seriously??). I watched the price drop to 39.99 and then finally to 19.99 in the sales and didn't think twice before I bought it. Such a reward; waiting for so long and then getting it for 40 Pounds less!
I simply took a black maxi dress, my black boots and some gold jewellery to get a grunge feel. For the surprise effect I added this awesome colourful cardigan and the pink tights. That's my take on grunge haha!
What did you buy in the sales? Spontaneous purchases or items you wanted for ages?

Roberto Cavalli SS12 - Prints

Roberto Cavalli, master of extreme prints, nailed it again. Designed with "more is more" in his mind, we're left admiring vibrant coloured prints in eclectic hues. Paired with simple garments, such as blazers and barely there micro bandeau tops, they are the stars of these looks.

Shoe Friday #33

I'm pretty sure you have seen those shoes, erm, racing around the past few months. Prada's latest shoe collection is a dedication to the roaring fifties. For such a well-established house it can be quite risqué to theme their collection around cars but Prada didn't disappoint and made it work.
What do you think of these fierce shoes?
Have a great weekend! I'm off now... vroom vroom...
