Successful Living At Diesel Village

Yesterday I popped down to Diesel Village for the second time this month. Located on 229 - 247 Regent Street, Diesel Village is a pop-up shop which opened its doors in December last year and plans to stay open til April. It contains every merchandise made by the Diesel 'cool factory' - how I like to call it. You'll find Diesel's original clothing range and accessories, the more urban 55DSL range, various perfumes and footwear. There's even A Ducati bike in the men's department - obviously customised by the brand.

Their recent collections appeal to me much more than those of previous years. Before, I found them to be way too sporty but now Diesel has managed to create garments for every occasion, not just for hanging round the block. Diesel Black Gold, a line added to the house in 2009, clearly has helped to shift the image of the brand. Hats of for the favourable change. Well done Diesel.

Shoe Friday #86

Another week, another red pair of shoes. Footwear coloured in this shade absolutely gets me going. You might remember this post, where I presented you with my favourite red boots for autmn 2012.

Today I'm showing you some Alexander Wangs as you can easily tell from their shape. I admired them in Selfridges a couple of weeks ago and thought they'd make a great Shoe Friday. Am I right?

Emilio Pucci's Dragons

Just like David Koma's exquisite hound shoes, these fierce Emilio Pucci accessories make for an inimitable style choice. Wear both in one outfit with a white lace blouse, a black velvet blazer and black leather pants. Head-turning.

Winter Favourites

ZARA blouse
ASOS coat
H&M trousers
TOPSHOP boots
D&G watch
Necklace from Bulgaria

Today my friend and I once again borrowed the uni's Canon 5D Mark II and 50mm f1.4 lens... The most perfect combination! The photos look so good and I always jump for joy when I see the stunning bokeh effect. Ahhhhhh...

This outfit includes nearly all my favourite garments for winter; the super necessary faux fur coat, the most beautiful floral print blouse ever (yes of course it's from Zara), the awesome faux leather trousers and some badass cowboy boots. Easy-peasy outfit combo.

Free People January Catalogue

January's Free People catalogue is dreamy as always, and this time they've shot in the city of bikes, Amsterdam. I really like the warm atmosphere; it brings much needed sunlight into January. Thank you Free People for making us look forward to summer!

Now pass me these balloons, I want to fly into the heat...

Here are some nude studded kitten heels by Valentino. They look super hot with their ankle straps. Kitten heels are elegant and sexy without being too over-the-top. And you can walk in them for hours. What a bonus.
