Look at these René Caovilla's, all smiles and happy! No wonder, they're summer sandals, the sun and the sea are on their minds 24/7. We could need a bit of that I thought, that's why I'm showing you these beauties. Now, which team are you, pink or blue? I'm definitely pink..
Have an awesome weekend and don't let the cray cray weather outside bring you down xxx
Another beautiful discovery during LFW in The Exhibition was Les Néréides. Their jewellery is so delicate and tender, and you can really see the hard work which has been put into making the playful pieces. It's a really nice change from all these big, cheap-looking neon necklaces with which the shops are filled at the moment. Jewellery should be about charming and wonderful, even bewitching pieces. And Les Néréides certainly can say that about their collections.
Sophia Webster's collection was the first I saw at The Exhibition in Somerset House today. She came to the attention of the industry with her beautiful and very playful SS13 collection last September.
For Pre-AW13 the designer opted for darker colours but kept the humorous spirit. This time around, the focus lies on art and illustration. The collection features a bag in a palette form and shoes where the t-strap has the design of a pencil and the soles look like lined paper. Sophia Webster's signature speech bubble clutch is present too, stating Hold Me.
The most surprising accessories are shown in the last photo - heels and a clutch with a knit print. Painted in hundreds of colours, obviously.
You can sop drooling now, there are (sadly) no more photos. Believe me, my eyes were as wide as yours when I entered this otherworldly perfect cake shop. Choccywoccydodaah is the place to go if your sweet tooth is hard to satisfy. Tall and beautifully adorned cakes grace the mystical shop among other sweet treats. Sugary popcorn bars, little marshmallow sets, heart-shaped chocolate gifts and so many more scrumptious surprises fill the room and make it what it is - just like something out of Alice In Wonderland.
Upstairs you can find a cosy cafe, offering drinks and Choccywoccydodaah's celebrated cakes. The environment is calm and stress-free, so bring a friend, order the most chocolatey cake and indulge. You can thank me later (preferably with that exact cake).
Same brand like last week, but totally different style. These rough Zara beasts are actually 100% cow leather, a real surprise considering that they're priced at only £49.99. What a deal! Love their cut and the great fusion of brogue and boot. Gimme now.
Last week I found myself on Regent Street entering H&M, that hasn't happened in a while. After checking out their make up and hosiery (I bought a set of only black socks for the first time - before, only coloured socks could convince me), I went to the jewellery stands. And between all these big and bold jewels I spied a pack of silver rings - sleek, clean cut and in various sizes. Immediately I took it with me, happy about my new jewellery find. The last time I bought some, it was the claw ring from Asos which I got exactly one year ago. Wow, that's a new record!
And what happened then? I saw the same pack of rings but in gold! Of course I got both, how could you decide between them? Worn together, they look even better. Even more with a third metallic shade like my bronze nailpolish, 380 Golden Totem by Rimmel.
And the best thing is that I can wear them under my gloves. The only option with this messy weather...
